Baglings terms of service

Who you are agreeing with

These terms are an agreement between you and the individual developer who makes Baglings. When these terms say "we" or "us", they mean that developer. By installing or using Baglings you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use the app. You can reach us at support@baglings.app.

Who may use Baglings

You must be 18 or older to use Baglings. It runs on a Solana Mobile Seeker or another Android phone. You are responsible for your wallet and your device, and for keeping both safe.

What Baglings is

Baglings is a pet game. Your Bagling is a creature that lives on your screen and grows with your care, and you can mint it as a Metaplex Core NFT into your own wallet. It draws over your other apps only with the permission you grant, and you can turn that overlay off in Settings at any time. Baglings is a game, not a financial product.

Your wallet, your keys

We never ask for your seed phrase or your private key, and the app never holds them. Baglings connects to your wallet through Mobile Wallet Adapter, and your wallet app asks you before it signs anything. It signs only what you start: one sign-in message when you connect, the mint, an evolution write to your Bagling (its stage, prestige or color), and a payment you start (a Bags top-up, a treat or the one-time activation). If you close the wallet sheet without approving, that is a no, and nothing is signed.

Non-custodial

Your Bagling NFT sits in your own wallet, not with us. If our servers ever go away, it stays there. We cannot move it, freeze it or get it back for you, so look after your wallet.

Bags and payments

Bags are a balance inside the game. You earn them by caring for your Bagling, or you top them up with ORE, SOL, USDC or SKR. Bags have no cash value: they are not a token and cannot be cashed out. Each wallet has one balance, and you cannot move it to another wallet or another person, with one exception: Bags you earn before you connect a wallet move to the wallet you connect. You spend Bags in the shop, and your prestige tier follows what you spent in the last 30 days. A one-time activation makes a Bagling yours on this wallet. You pay it in ORE, SOL, USDC or SKR, at the price the app shows you at the time, and it comes with 100 Bags. If your Bagling moves to another wallet, that wallet needs its own activation, because one Bagling is one player. A treat is a payment you start the same way. A payment on the chain cannot be reversed, and we do not refund a top-up, a treat or an activation once it has settled. If a payment went through and nothing arrived, write to support@baglings.app with the transaction signature and we will look into it.

Information, not advice

Nothing in Baglings is financial, legal or tax advice. When your Bagling reacts to your wallet, dancing when SOL arrives or sulking on a rough day, that is play. It is never a signal to buy, sell or hold anything.

Blockchain and market risk

Using Solana comes with risks we do not control: network fees, congestion, failed transactions, changes in what tokens are worth, and outages of the chain or of your wallet app. You take on those risks when you use Baglings.

Third-party services

Baglings relies on services that others run: your wallet app, the Solana network and its RPC providers, the issuers of the tokens you hold or pay with, the hosting providers our servers run on, and the Solana dApp Store. Their own terms cover how you use them, and we are not responsible for what they do.

What you may not do

Do not abuse Baglings or the servers behind it. That means no scraping, no cheating the game or its Bags, no pretending to be someone else, no reverse engineering the app to attack other people, and nothing against the law. We may limit or close an install that does any of these.

Ownership and your licence

The Baglings art, name, code and words belong to us. We give you a personal licence, which you cannot pass on to anyone else, to use the app and your pet's art for your own non-commercial use. Your NFT is yours, as the chain records it.

Suspension and ending

We may pause or end Baglings, or a single install, at any time. If that happens, your NFT stays yours in your wallet. Bags live on our servers, so they may be lost if the service ends.

No warranties

Baglings comes as is and as available. We do not promise that it will always be up, that it will be free of bugs, or that your pet will keep every feature it has today.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect loss, for lost tokens or lost Bags, or for more than what you paid us in the twelve months before your claim.

Your responsibility

If someone makes a claim against us because of how you misused Baglings, you agree to cover the cost of that claim.

Governing law and disputes

The laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there govern these terms. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first at support@baglings.app and we will try to put it right. If we cannot, the courts of British Columbia, Canada decide.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes. If you keep using Baglings after that, you accept the updated terms.
